ONLINE COMMUNICATION, TRIAL ACTIVATION & REFUND POLICY To ensure transparency, the following section describes the limited online interactions required by the Software. 4.1. Online Communication Overview Smart Home Cinema – Voice Control is designed as a primarily offline application. However, limited online communication is required in specific, clearly defined situations. No continuous background communication occurs during normal operation. 4.2. Trial Activation During the initial use of the Software, a one-time online verification is performed in order to activate the trial period. For this purpose, the Software transmits the following technical information to the Smart Home Cinema license server: a Windows system identifier (HWID) derived from the operating system no personal data, user files, media content, or behavioral information This communication occurs only once, at the moment the trial is first activated. After successful activation: a local trial file is created on the User’s system no further online communication is required for the duration of the trial 4.3. License Activation When a User chooses to activate a purchased License Key, the Software performs a single online request to validate the license and bind it to the current system. At this stage, the following information is transmitted: the License Key entered by the User the system identifier (HWID) Upon successful activation: a local license file is created on the User’s system the Software operates fully offline no periodic license checks or background communication are performed 4.4. License Rebinding In certain situations (such as reinstalling Windows or moving to a new computer), a license rebinding may be requested. License rebinding: requires explicit User action may require manual approval by the Developer involves a one-time online communication using the system identifier (HWID) No automated or hidden background communication occurs outside these explicit scenarios. 4.5. No Continuous Online Monitoring Smart Home Cinema – Voice Control does not: perform periodic online license validation transmit usage statistics collect analytics or telemetry monitor User behavior All normal operation of the Software remains fully offline after trial or license activation. 4.6. Trial-Based Evaluation The Software includes a time-limited trial period that allows Users to evaluate functionality before purchasing a License Key. Users are encouraged to fully test the Software during the trial period to ensure compatibility with their system and expectations. 4.7. Refund Policy After License Activation Smart Home Cinema – Voice Control is distributed as digital software content and operates under an offline license model after activation.
