Smart Home Cinema – Voice Control is proprietary software created and owned by Marius Vomir.

The software is licensed, not sold. Use of Smart Home Cinema is governed by the license terms presented during installation and published on this website.

Security & Trust

To ensure transparency and user safety, Smart Home Cinema installers are digitally signed and independently verified using industry-standard security tools.

At the time of publication, the official Smart Home Cinema packages and editions listed below were verified, and no antivirus security vendors reported these files as malicious.

These hashes allow users to independently verify file integrity and confirm that the installer has not been modified.

Licensing, Trial & Refund Summary

Smart Home Cinema includes a 14-day trial period with full functionality, allowing you to evaluate the software on your own system.

After the trial expires, continued use requires activating a license key. After activation, Smart Home Cinema does not perform continuous online license checks. Some features, packages, or third-party workflows may still require internet access, local network access, or external services. The license cannot be remotely revoked.

Because of this offline license model, refunds are not provided after license activation. Users are strongly encouraged to fully evaluate the software during the trial period.

License Binding & Rebind

Each license is bound to one Windows installation. A license rebind is required only when reinstalling Windows or moving the software to a new PC.

Privacy & Online Connectivity (Summary)

Smart Home Cinema supports local playback and player automation on the Windows PC for the VLC / PotPlayer package, and command workflows with the user's existing Jellyfin Server and Jellyfin TV app setup for the Jellyfin package.

Smart Home Cinema does not upload your movie files, subtitle files, folders, media library, playback history, or microphone audio to Smart Home Cinema servers.

Internet connectivity may be used for:

Local Voice Edition speech recognition runs locally on the Windows PC. Voice Assistant Edition and Jellyfin Multi-Zone Edition use third-party services such as Alexa, Google Assistant, and TRIGGERcmd, which have their own terms and service conditions.

Internet requirements depend on both the Smart Home Cinema package and the control edition used.

With the VLC / PotPlayer package, Local Voice Edition can be used for normal local movie control without an active internet connection after the required trial or license activation steps are complete, except for optional online actions such as OpenSubtitles downloads, updates, or license rebind.

With Voice Assistant Edition and Jellyfin Multi-Zone Edition, internet access is required for the Alexa / Google Assistant and TRIGGERcmd command flow.

The Jellyfin package also depends on the user's existing Jellyfin Server, Jellyfin TV app, and local network setup.

Responsibility & Warranty (Summary)

Some commands may move, delete, or synchronize files. You are responsible for folder structure, backups, and configuration accuracy.

System-level commands such as Shutdown PC and Stop Everything may close applications and cause loss of unsaved work. Use these commands intentionally.

The software is provided “as-is”, with liability limited to the price paid for the license.

Voice commands may be interpreted either by third-party voice assistants in the Voice Assistant Edition or the Jellyfin Multi-Zone Edition, or by the Local Voice Engine and related speech recognition components in the Local Voice Edition. Recognition accuracy may vary depending on microphone quality, environment, pronunciation, device behavior, audio drivers, and third-party speech recognition behavior. Users are responsible for confirming actions triggered by voice commands.

Smart Home Cinema does not provide, host, distribute, or verify any media content used with the software. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their media complies with applicable copyright laws.
